Finnish industrial production plunged in April on an annual basis for the sixth straight month as the global financial crisis drained demand for Finnish products, official data showed. Industrial output plummeted by 21 percent in April from the same month in 2008. In March the fall was 16.6 percent year-on-year. Month-on-month, industrial production in April slid by 3.5 percent from the previous month when it rose by 1.9 percent.
